12/4 Update | The Schaefers

I don’t have any videos to add today. The millwork and tile subs have been working on a near-constant basis, so it’s particularly loud over there, and when they leave, it’s dark, so there’s no way to do a decent video. I am so not complaining about this, though. I am super grateful that they’re working so hard to get the house done. I know their families and warm houses are much more welcoming than our chilly, damp construction site.

The tile has been steadily growing, and the millwork (cabinets and shelves, etc) have been installed and are getting doors, faces, and refinements. It feels like things are moving very slowly, but this is tricky and detailed work. Doing it properly takes time.
